I am just finishing up some work in Billericay after 3 meetings this afternoon and I did not know the place has had a complete refit. Firstly the meetings all involve websites and the work we help our clients with.
- A restaurant in Brentwood wants to replace Deliveroo, the food delivery process people that has taken a big hold in the market. Whilst they offer an effective solution, the overheads of using such a service to deliver restaurant food can eat into margins and erode profitability. We have all the components in place to replace Deliveroo and we are in the process of testing the system we have set up for the client, including SMS notifications and delivery/pick up time selection.
- The second client wants to work on getting more bookings through their website and improving their margins as well. Again, there is an overlay process that takes a percentage of their booking fees and the client wants to take payments direct on their own website and maximise profitability. The website needs an SEO boost and to more viability on the internet. Watch this space
- The final customer wanted some tips on how to use their WordPress system to ensure their own blogs were displaying correctly and making correct use of categories and tags. Tags are a great way to add some lower level information to a blog to help the SEO and give the best UX when looking at your blogs. Customer was very happy with the 1 hour session
So back to the Crown Pub and I love the new decor inside. It is very relaxing sitting here now doing a few bits and pieces and sitting in a lovely comfortable seat listening to some 80s music. Bananarama playing at the moment!
